Energy efficiency of electrical space heating

Based on the actual monitoring results of electrical space heating energy consumption of buildings in Urumqi, indicates that the energy consumption for electrical space heating is not as higher as we thought before, comparing with traditional district heating. The user’s behavior energy saving and free heat utilization dramatically reduce the energy consumption of new buildings. The two factors have not been considered in traditional district heating efficiency calculation. The electrical space heating is conveniently used and controlled by users, without heat loss in the heating network. These primarily cause the energy saving of electrical space heating.
